Luke Beveridge is an Australian rules football coach and former player. He is currently the coach of the Western%20Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Playing Career: Beveridge played 118 AFL games for four clubs: Melbourne, Footscray (now Western Bulldogs), St%20Kilda, and Collingwood.
Coaching Career: Prior to coaching the Western Bulldogs, he served as an assistant coach at Collingwood and Hawthorn.
Western Bulldogs Coaching: Beveridge was appointed as the senior coach of the Western%20Bulldogs in November 2014. He famously led the Bulldogs to a historic AFL%20Premiership in 2016, breaking a 62-year premiership drought for the club. This is widely considered a monumental achievement.
Coaching Style & Philosophy: He is known for his ability to foster a strong team culture and build resilience within his playing group. He is respected for his compassionate leadership and tactical acumen.
Awards and Recognition: Beveridge won the AFLCA%20Coach%20of%20the%20Year award in 2016.
